Dear Supporter,
Please
help us build a cross-cultural bridge through dance between the
Americas and greater China. Our goal is to create a movement of
dance,
which like American Hip Hop, fosters a sense of belonging in young
people and maintains a link to heritage at the same time.
You
can be a part of an exciting new arts community which is growing in
greater China. Together we are building a bridge to connect the
existing Chinese community with a vibrant arts community in the San
Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles. Our dance troupe, Philein/Zi
Ru
Tiger Productions, employs a unique and cross cultural creative
process as we are constantly weaving in artists, several times a
year,
from many continents as well as working with people on the cutting edge
of film and technology.
Your
donation to the tour will also enable us to hold free
master youth
classes in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Beijing and Shanghai for young
people world wide, who have never been exposed to modern
dance or hip
hop.
Please support
our premiere Shanghai Dance Tour and the work of Philein/Zi Ru Tiger
Productions. We know you will enjoy our art and being a part of
our
dancing for peace.
Sincerely,
Philein Wang
